Robert Nesta “Bob” Marley, OM (6 February 1945 – 11 May 1981) was a Jamaican singer-songwriter and musician. He was the rhythm guitarist and lead singer for the ska, rocksteady and reggae band Bob Marley & The Wailers (1963–1981). Marley remains the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music, and is credited with helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari movement to a worldwide audience.
Marley’s sons Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Kymani and Damian have all followed the path made by their dear father.
It is Through Bob Marley’s sons that his Legacy of Musical Genius is Being Memorialized.
One has to be astonished by the fact that a single man was able to change the world with his individual talent and also produce an entire family of musical geniuses.
Stephen Robert Nesta “Raggamuffin” Marley (born April 20, 1972) is a Jamaican American musician and the son of reggae legend Bob Marley and his wife Rita Marley. He is a five-time Grammy award winner as an artist, producer, and member of Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers.
